This is the best food I've ever had in Miami in all my years of living here. If the world was fair THIS PLACE WOULD HAVE MICHELIN STARS AND BE ON TOURIST GUIDES. This was the first time in my life I ever had food so good I almost cried, I literally felt emotional - how could something be so in depth in flavor, so beautifully put together, so perfectly done? It made me appreciate food just as like, a reason for being alive. On days I feel bad I'll remember what it was like to eat here and remember it's worth it to keep looking forward to the next day, because who knows, maybe there's a delicious restaurant like Sticky Rice I haven't discovered yet. That's how good the food here is. I'm literally just filled with joy at being able to discover it. I ordered the chicken skewer, which is a grilled cornish hen with sticky rice, vegetables, and most importantly, the best tomato herb sauce you will ever have. When I tell you... dipping that rice in the sauce... then taking a bite of the chicken... the flavour was so in depth and savory it felt like a painting. This was once before "kamwow" and they still carry the wow with a new menu and a new section wich you should all try the "LAO" MENU especially "LAHP beef" you want something exotic and delicious home food cooking in a restaurant this is the place . I ordered the soft crab ,sashimi appetizer, hamachi kama (wich is the collar of the yellow tail grilled) delicious 😋 and the beef lamp! This restaurant is a 💎 and I mean it . 3 generations of of family with Adam(he is third gen) still in the kitchen and on the floor and new owner is cousin. Here at sticky rice your coming to a.home a family of chefs and servers that treat you like your blood or even better. Try the unknown drink and be merry ,offer a drink to the chef or your neighbor and be marry in this fine establishment. With much love I rite this review because that's how and always I've been treated . Thank you for your service and like the late Anthony Bourdain said tip your waitress or waiter and your bartenders. the food here is so delicious!! my friend and I haven’t been to a restaurant where ever single plate was better than the last. very satisfied with our experience. wish i could gatekeep but we need to give them their stars.

We have gone multiple times as my family loves Lao style food.. The idea is amazing but the food consistency is lacking. The very first time we went we were very impressed, by the service and the food that we went home and told everyone, friends, family, customers, you name it. The times after were good, but not as good. Either things didn't taste fresh, or things were too salty. Our friends that went from our recommendation were disappointed in the food too which is sad because normally our recs are a hit, but they also said some of the food was saltier than what they're used to. Please work on consistency as we would love to keep coming here!!! 🙏 Also, their to go containers need to be sturdier and have better seals as a lot of their food has sauces and the clamshell boxes don't cut it as the sauce spills everywhere. The staff is friendly. Service is good on a slow day, but on a busy night, it's nonexistent. Be prepared. We don't mind that as much as long as our food is out. We can do the rest ourselves. The decor is simple and clean.
